Pray for my Dad who broke his hip last Sunday and was one of the 60 that has been evacuated from the Feather River Hospital in Paradise. He and his wife have probably lost their home which they just bought . Please pray for those who have been evacuated as well as the whole area down there along with all the first responders and anyone else who is providing support.

Praise God my sister Donna's liver is healthy. Now, she just needs her eye to be removed with the melanoma and she will be "good to go". Continue to pray for her eye surgery, recovery, and to be able to drive with only one eye. Thanks and God Bless your ministry.
Pray for my sister's granddaughter Isabella to get word about going to live with her dad. She met with the judge for 25 minutes and told him she wanted to live with her dad and now the judge is dragging his feet. Please pray for God's intervention to settle this one and for all for her to live with her dad, my nephew Milt. Her mother is not a good person and she does supposedly told the judge this. Montana does things very very slow. They are nothing like California. It would be said and done by now if in California. My nephew has an attorney, but I don't know how good he is? Pray for God's will for Isabella and that my nephew will hear from the judge soon that he gets his daughter back. She is 11 years old. If she stays with mom, her life is not going to be very good and she could get with the wrong crowd "looking for love" in all the wrong places.

Family friend, Hannah, is in terrible distress with diabetes, pregnancy, colonic sickness. She is basically wasting away... lost a lot of muscle mass. She is a lovely girl losing her life faith and full of anxiety. They will take the baby as soon as it can survive on it's own. Family needs prayer. Thank you.

Pray again for my sister Donna. Now, she has to go to Sacramento Wednesday for a liver scan. She has hepatitis C and they have to see what is going on in her liver. Pray against fibrosis of the liver, cancer of the liver, and any other serious thing that could be wrong. She has enough just getting her eye taken out for melanoma soon. That is all she can handle at this time. God says he will not give more than we can handle. I pray no more bad news, just good news for my sister, Donna. Pray for her peace and that God will get her through this difficult time. Thanks.

What is Prayer?
- Prayer is an incredible privilege. God, the King of everything, invites us to communicate with Him. Prayer is simply talking with God. Whether it is a praise, a need, or a struggle, we have the opportunity to go to God in prayer. (Matthew 5, 6 / Romans 12 / Ephesians 6 / Hebrews 4)
Why do We Pray
- Prayer is the main avenue to create, cultivate, and sustain a deep connection with God. From the Bible, we get the picture that prayer is a major part of Heaven’s Kingdom. Jesus’ example is all we need to understand the reason for prayer. Over and over again in the New Testament especially leading up to the Cross, we see the words in Scripture of Him going away to pray. He models a commitment to pray often which communicates the importance of regular prayer. (Matthew 14, 26 / Mark 1 / Luke 5, 6 / Colossians 4 / 1 Thessalonians 5)
- Scripture also encourages us to ask others to join us in prayer. We are honored that you would trust us to partner with you in prayer. It is our privilege to pray for you and with you for any need or opportunity in your life.
(Ecclesiastes 4 / Ephesians 6 / James 5)
