My father Albert has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis over a year ago. He was given a 2 year time stamp. His health is declining and he now has an oxygen tank. He is sick and in pain every single day. He is a fairly new Christian and struggles in his walk. I know he has fear, but holds it together for my mom. Please pray for his healing and that the quality of his life improves. Thank you!

Pray for my grandson to adjust to freshman year at U-Prep. Pray for his dad to get a job. This has been a prayer for it seems like my whole life. He is selling fish right now, but needs something permanent so he can take care of himself and his family. Thank you and God Bless you for your prayers.

Please pray for my nephew Duane. He has dealt with some heavy losses over the last year which led him to two attempted suicides. He is now suffering from constant anxiety, crippling panic attacks, and insomnia. He just recently relocated to Redding. He can't be seen by a doctor until next month and is unable to have his prescriptions from his previous doctor transferred because of the fact he moved. He believes in God but does not know Jesus as his Savior. He went to Neighborhood for the first time last Sunday and said he really felt good about it and wanted to go again this weekend, but was unable to due to health issues resulting from his panic and anxiety. I've shared my testimony with him but he needs lots of prayer because Satan doesn't want to let him go. Please pray for salvation, peace, good medical care, and protection.

I would fully submit my whole mind to obeying Jesus. That I would from this season forward not give into my will. Leads me to unhealthy toxic relationships with men. That issues leading me to self destruction no longer hold me. I have wanted this for my whole life it is now more than ever important to fully get it and obey and allow Jesus to guide me because my 2 year old son is in foster car second time because of my relationship issues with men. I believe Jesus is working powerfully to reunify but I also would like to pray for the courts to have grace on me. I have learned I’m continuing to learn I have surrender my whole self admitting I am powerless my will is death. This week I am going to speak with a social worker about a program my question being is this program is where Jesus wants me to go? Is it His will I pursue this?

Pray for my grandson, Jaden, that he, his dad and mom will chose the right high school for him to attend this year....either U-Prep.which is where he went last year and matured a lot....or Foothill High School which is closer to home. What school would God want Jaden to go to? God's will for the right place for Jaden. Thanks.

What is Prayer?
- Prayer is an incredible privilege. God, the King of everything, invites us to communicate with Him. Prayer is simply talking with God. Whether it is a praise, a need, or a struggle, we have the opportunity to go to God in prayer. (Matthew 5, 6 / Romans 12 / Ephesians 6 / Hebrews 4)
Why do We Pray
- Prayer is the main avenue to create, cultivate, and sustain a deep connection with God. From the Bible, we get the picture that prayer is a major part of Heaven’s Kingdom. Jesus’ example is all we need to understand the reason for prayer. Over and over again in the New Testament especially leading up to the Cross, we see the words in Scripture of Him going away to pray. He models a commitment to pray often which communicates the importance of regular prayer. (Matthew 14, 26 / Mark 1 / Luke 5, 6 / Colossians 4 / 1 Thessalonians 5)
- Scripture also encourages us to ask others to join us in prayer. We are honored that you would trust us to partner with you in prayer. It is our privilege to pray for you and with you for any need or opportunity in your life.
(Ecclesiastes 4 / Ephesians 6 / James 5)
