Pray for my hairdresser's daughter Cindy. She has spina bifida and had to go to the hospital recently with severe dehydration and problems with lab abnormalities due to that. My hairdresser, JoAn, just retired Friday from her job. It has been very stressful for her getting used to being retired after working for 40 years and having her grown daughter (52 years old) sick. She is in a wheelchair and JoAn has to provide a lot of care for her which is very difficult. Pray for her daughter to get over this episode quickly and that her mom can start enjoying her retirement.

Please pray for my husband, Art and his doctor. He is scheduled to have a blood clot filter removed from his vena cava on this coming Thursday, April 4th at UC Davis in Sacramento. The filter was placed in his vena cava in 2002 following heart surgery and has since migrated and has penetrated the vena cava artery and is now threatening his renal arteries making this procedure more complicated. Thank you for your prayers...

Please pray for my ex husband - he has a mass in his throat at the top of his esophagus- can’t even swallow water and has been without food and his meds for 5 days. Also he had a huge hernia that has pushed his stomach up in to his chest so they’re now sure that can even put in a feeding tube.

Thank you!

The last couple month I’ve struggled with acid reflux and GERD. It’s taking its toll on me and I’m at my wits end, nothing has seemed to help with it and I just need to be healed.

Let's all pray for the team of student nurses going to serve in Mexico, led by our own Dr. Tom Perry. They would particularly like prayer help regarding crossing the border, which will be at 2 pm Saturday.

    What is Prayer?

    • Prayer is an incredible privilege. God, the King of everything, invites us to communicate with Him. Prayer is simply talking with God. Whether it is a praise, a need, or a struggle, we have the opportunity to go to God in prayer. (Matthew 5, 6 / Romans 12 / Ephesians 6 / Hebrews 4)

    Why do We Pray

    • Prayer is the main avenue to create, cultivate, and sustain a deep connection with God. From the Bible, we get the picture that prayer is a major part of Heaven’s Kingdom. Jesus’ example is all we need to understand the reason for prayer. Over and over again in the New Testament especially leading up to the Cross, we see the words in Scripture of Him going away to pray. He models a commitment to pray often which communicates the importance of regular prayer. (Matthew 14, 26 / Mark 1 / Luke 5, 6 / Colossians 4 / 1 Thessalonians 5)
    • Scripture also encourages us to ask others to join us in prayer. We are honored that you would trust us to partner with you in prayer. It is our privilege to pray for you and with you for any need or opportunity in your life.
      (Ecclesiastes 4 / Ephesians 6 / James 5)
