I am a single mom of 2 which my youngest has been in and out of the hospital her whole life and has a g-tube so her doctor does not want me to work cause I am needed in the home as her caretaker. Our home for the last year and a half was sold and we were only given until the end of this month to find a new place to call home. My unique situation has been extremely hard finding a place with no job. I receive HUD and some financial support from the state and my current landlord gave me a wonderful letter of recommendation. However most places do not want to rent to someone with no employment. I was lucky enough to have had this home for a year and a half because a private owner took a chance on us after reading my daughter's journey. I will be forever grateful but now I'm asking for prayer that God will open another door for us and we will have a roof over our heads. Thank you so much.

Please pray for baby Reina in Southern California. She has already had one open heart surgery and it looks like she will have to have another as her vessels are not growing fast enough to keep up with the rest of her. Pray that this will be corrected without surgery, but if surgery is needed that she tolerate it well, with quick recovery. She has a single mom who is exploring Christianity, but believes in the power of prayer, after Reina's good recovery from last surgery. Pray that this would lead mom to Christ as her savior.

My mom is very ill. We took her to the hospital they ran test and Ct.scan and it revealed that she has 3 tumors in her brain. Drs plan of action is to remove the large one that is in the back of the brain to determine what kind it is. It is about the size of a racquet ball. The surgery is scheduled to happen on Wednesday.

What is Prayer?
- Prayer is an incredible privilege. God, the King of everything, invites us to communicate with Him. Prayer is simply talking with God. Whether it is a praise, a need, or a struggle, we have the opportunity to go to God in prayer. (Matthew 5, 6 / Romans 12 / Ephesians 6 / Hebrews 4)
Why do We Pray
- Prayer is the main avenue to create, cultivate, and sustain a deep connection with God. From the Bible, we get the picture that prayer is a major part of Heaven’s Kingdom. Jesus’ example is all we need to understand the reason for prayer. Over and over again in the New Testament especially leading up to the Cross, we see the words in Scripture of Him going away to pray. He models a commitment to pray often which communicates the importance of regular prayer. (Matthew 14, 26 / Mark 1 / Luke 5, 6 / Colossians 4 / 1 Thessalonians 5)
- Scripture also encourages us to ask others to join us in prayer. We are honored that you would trust us to partner with you in prayer. It is our privilege to pray for you and with you for any need or opportunity in your life.
(Ecclesiastes 4 / Ephesians 6 / James 5)
