Neighborhood Church is part of a worldwide family of churches called The Christian and Missionary Alliance (the Alliance). We serve in every corner of the world. We support everything from church planting in Asia to hospitals in Africa to agricultural projects in South America and literacy instruction in American inner cities.
Jesus’ words motivate us:
“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?’ And the King will tell them, ‘I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’” Matthew 25:37-40, NLT.
“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere.” Mark 16:15, NLT.
The Alliance is an evangelical denomination with a major emphasis on world evangelization. It maintains a “big tent” stance in reference to many doctrinal matters, encouraging believers of diverse backgrounds and theological traditions to unite in an alliance to know and exalt Jesus Christ and to complete His Great Commission.
