CARE MINISTRIES

The purpose of Neighborhood Church’s Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles.” This experience allows us to “be changed.” We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our lives’ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power – Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

Celebration Station is our children’s program (birth through 6th grade) that compliments Celebrate Recovery. Kids Kindergarten and under have snack time and playtime. They hear Bible stories and participate in activities that help them begin to grasp the concepts of the stories. Kids 1st-6th grade have a structured evening that includes teaching, craft, prayer, play, and worship times. While adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids discover the same truths in age appropriate ways. Check-in begins at 6 pm.

Every Tuesday:
Dinner: 5:30 – 6:00 pm
Meeting: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Location: Ministry Center

Care Coaches are well-trained to provide quality emotional and spiritual support to those going through a difficult time. Care Coaches meet one-on-one with men paired with men and women with women. Meetings are confidential and Christ-centered.

If you have experienced a loss and are having difficulties, separation or divorce, or have a need for a hospital visit, you may want to consider a Care Coach. We’ll listen, pray, encourage, and walk along side of you as you go through your difficult time.
